Mile High Youth Corps (MHYC) improves communities and the lives of youth by putting young people to work in neighborhoods, public parks and open spaces throughout Metro Denver and the Southern Front Range. In the last year, the Corps had a significant impact throughout the state of Colorado:

JOB CREATION AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
MHYC employed, educated and trained over 200 young adults in 2011 and received an average of 10 applications for every one youth position available. Additionally, Corpsmembers earned nearly $300,000 in AmeriCorps education awards. Read More.
