Fight Climate Change in Your Community
Make a difference, and make a better future for yourself at Mile High Youth Corps.
We are a group of young people who are focused on combatting Climate Change and educating ourselves on the issues that face our community.
This is not like other jobs.
Join us for our Fall Climate Action- Energy & Water Conservation program! The Energy & Water Conservation program (E&W) is a team-based, 14 or 21 week-long program for individuals between the ages 18-24. E&W participants (called Corpsmembers) serve on community-based energy and water conservation projects throughout the Denver metro area. Corpsmembers will be enrolled in AmeriCorps—a national community service program.
Corpsmembers will earn up to $9,378.60 for a 14-week term or $13,967.20 for a 21-week term.
Never had a job in conservation before? Not sure if you like this kind of work? That’s okay! Our goal is to support you with the knowledge and team that you need to be successful. We will provide you with hands-on training and certificates related to all projects.
All we ask is that you bring your dedication to hard work, a positive attitude, and a commitment to a service term you’ll never forget.
