Mile High Youth Corps works closely with local businesses and community organizations to provide our programs and services. Corporate support and community suport are essential in several aspects of our work, including: youth recruitment, project development, educational curriculum, employment opportunities for our graduates, community resources for Corpsmembers, sponsoring fundraising events, volunteering to enhance the quality of our programs, and in-kind donations.
Community partners play a critical role in the recruitment of youth participants for our programs. Mile High Youth Corps is actively seeking to expand our reach via relationships with organizations throughout the Metropolitan Denver and Southern Front Range regions. Year-round, Corpsmembers participate in conservation, construction and neighborhood improvement projects benefiting communities in the Denver metro and Southern Front Range areas. Working on crews of 8-10 peers and under the direct supervision of trained MHYC Crew Leaders, Corpsmembers accomplish meaningful work on public lands, in urban neighborhoods and in area parks. Employer Advisory Council
Consider joining the Employer Advisory Council this year. This forum directly connects Mile High Youth Corps with representatives from the private sector in order to meet member's workforce demands and effective placements for graduates. EAC members participate in job readiness training curriculum, provide access to job and internship placements, and help MHYC staff connect with a great variety of employwers in the surrounding community. Mile High Youth Corps partners with a variety of community organizations to provide education and field trip opportunities to our Corpsmembers. Our six core education areas include: Leadership Development, Healthy Lifestyles, Independent Living, Career and College-Readiness, Environmental Education and Civic Engagement.

We have a 25-year track record of providing young adults with high-quality, hands-on work experience combined with education and training. By integrating paid work experience on community projects with career exploration, education and lifeskills training, the Corps helps youth develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom, the workforce and everyday life. Community Resources for Corpsmembers
Mile High Youth Corps partners with community organizations to provide referrals for various resources. Resource referrals include housing, food assistance, legal aid, child care, health care, mental health counseling, clothing, tattoo removal and lifeskills classes.
